About Jonathan Schultheiss
For over twenty years, Jonathan has taken on key financial leadership roles with both private and public companies in industries ranging from healthcare to electronic transaction processing. During that time he has come to be regarded as a dynamic, internationally seasoned professional with a hands-on, grass-roots style that combines excellent organizational and communication skills. As a trusted expert advisor, he concentrates on helping business define and reach long range goals by emphasizing financial strategic planning, discipline, and execution.
Jonathan’s diverse industry experience includes the U.S. non-profit sector with a large multi-facility hospital and nursing home corporation which later transitioned into an opportunity to commission the financial operations for a 340 bed international hospital located in the Mid-East. Within the private sector, he has provided financial and investment management services to high net worth family businesses, and while based in Europe, he created and developed the cash management and treasury operations for a publicly held U.S. multi-national company which was in the process of developing the largest ATM network in Europe. Within the arena of government contracting, Jonathan recently guided an aerospace R&D company through the complex array of government regulations required to establish a FAR compliant, cost based accounting and reporting system as well as leading the response to a subsequent DCAA audit.
Mr. Schultheiss is an actively licensed CPA and member of the AICPA, and holds his Masters in Healthcare Fiscal Management from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He was formerly a licensed broker and financial advisor (series 7, 63, & 65) on the New York Stock Exchange.
Now settled with his son in Fort Collins, Colorado, at the foot of the northern Colorado Rockies, Jonathan enjoys mountain trail skiing in the winter and bicycling whenever the weather is warm enough! In the summer he can often be found hiking in the mountains with their trusty trail dog, Max. His teenage son is an avid student of Taekwondo and MineCraft.
