About Mark Deorio
Mark’s objective is to help business owners maximize the value of their business and realize the highest possible return on their investment of time, effort and money. He is dedicated to helping them overcome short term challenges and improve the performance of their business while effectively planning for long term success. He has helped owners focus on the actions that drove the profitable growth of their business, including:

He can guide owners through the purchase process and the critical work of integrating the operations and cultures of different businesses. Mark has over 42 years of experience in accounting and finance, including 21 years as CFO for Case Logic, Inc., eBags, Inc. and Duluth Holdings Inc. doing business as Duluth Trading Company. He also served as the Vice President and Controller for the Gerry Baby Products Company and the Huffy Bicycle Company. In addition to his accounting and finance expertise, Mark has led the IT, operations, customer service and human resources functions for several companies, allowing him to share broad and deep experience to offer impactful guidance on a wide range of business opportunities and challenges. Mark’s IT experience included the selection and implementation of ERP, Order Management, Warehouse Management, Customer Relationship Management and e-Commerce systems. His operations experience included the construction of new manufacturing facilities and warehouses as well as the implementation of 3d Party Logistics (3PL) operations. His Customer Service experience included developing world-class in-house customer service teams as well as outsourcing and offshoring call centers. His Human Resources experience included overseeing the recruiting, developing and retaining of employees in rapidly growing organizations, both in the United States and overseas.
Mark has worked in both privately held and public companies, has taken a company public and has experience with venture capital and private equity ownership structures. His industry experience includes consumer products, retail, and manufacturing.
Mark holds a BBA – Accounting from the University of Notre Dame Mendoza School of Business and he earned his CPA certification in the State of Ohio. He and his wife Jan enjoy living in Colorado and spending time with their two adult daughters and a granddaughter. Mark is an avid reader and enjoys playing and listening to music, hiking, working out and practicing yoga.
